Control of Robot Manipulator Using Augmented Reality and Tablet
Pristaš, Martin ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create an experimental application for manipulating virtual objects in the augmented reality using an tablet for controlling the robotic arm. There is created various ways of manipulating virtual objects for their translation, rotation, and scale change. These methods are tested on several users and compared within their usability. The application allows you to send the position of virtual object changes to the PR2 robot arm and simulate manipulation of virtual objects with augmented reality.
Application for Visualizing Animated 3D Objects Using Augmented Reality on iOS
Minárik, Martin ; Bambušek, Daniel (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create an application for visualizing 3-D animated objects in augmented reality on a device with operating system iOS. The work demonstrates how to load an object to display within the augmented reality as well methods for animating, changing the state and manipulating the objects. The thesis describes preparation of the object for visualization, inner structure of the object and animation files as well as supported files. The result of the thesis is an application using ARKit framwerok allowing user to display and manipulate the objects capable of animating in augmented reality.
Augmented Reality on iOS - Displaying of Map Features in Terrain
Bezák, Adam ; Brejcha, Jan (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis aims to improve the user's orientation in terrain using his smartphone and augmented reality. By combining these two elements and cost-free OpenStreetMap database of geographic data, is possible to show nearby map features from the maps or show additional information about nearby objects. The resulting technology is used in implemented iOS application called Water Radar. This application displays nearby water streams (or other water objects) relative to the GPS position of the user. The application also uses Google Elevation API, in order to enable displayed water streams to follow the landscape.
